This building, dating from the era of the Catholic Monarchs, originally served as the city’s grain warehouse to provide relief to residents—and primarily to farmers—during times of scarcity.
The building retains the original structure characteristic of its function: three parallel aisles with a steep access ramp leading to the upper part of the central section, which has been renovated in recent years.
