Torreón de Lozoya Foundation Museum
Right in the heart of Segovia stands one of the most iconic examples of civil architecture in this World Heritage City.
The permanent collection of the museum housed in the Torreón de Lozoya comprises just over a thousand works, most of which come from the legacy of the now defunct Caja Segovia, supplemented by donations and loans from various private individuals and institutions.
A visit to this collection allows you to enjoy works of a wide variety of types (paintings, coins, sculpture, glass, porcelain, books, ceramics…), although most of the pieces are contemporary art related to Segovia and its province.
In addition to the permanent collection, this museum hosts various temporary exhibitions and offers unrivalled views of the historic centre from the highest point of the tower that gives it its name.
