Cabila Mill

A reminder of the not-so-distant past
First recorded in 1489, it was converted into a flour mill in the 19th century. Following its partial demolition in 1975, its walls and some of the machinery were restored in 2010.
It is an example of the industrial architecture of dams, fulling mills and watermills scattered along the banks of the Eresma, and a stage of the captivating Senda de los Molinos, rich in heritage and natural beauty, which begins at the old pottery factory and ends at the Royal Mint. Alongside this is the medieval Cacera de Regantes, which has supplied water to the vegetable gardens of the San Lorenzo neighbourhood for centuries.
