Designated a Site of Cultural Interest

This building stands on the site of the former medieval mill, which is no longer extant but is mentioned in a document dated 1136 held in the Cathedral archives. The document highlights its historical significance as Segovia’s first civil building used for industrial purposes.

The mill belonged to the Lords of the Cathedral Chapter and was later run by the Servants of Mary; it is now privately owned.
