31. Saint Peter of the Peaks Church (Iglesia de San Pedro de los Picos)

Header image

A unique Romanesque church dedicated to St. Peter ad Vincula. The original bell tower, topped with overhangs, is the reason for the church’s name. The bell used to warn the citizens of possible attacks and revolts. During the plague that took place at the end of the 16th century, this building acted as an improvised hospital. In the 20th century, it became a private residence.
