The legacy of the Saint

16th–17th centuries. The site where the foundation established by Saint Teresa of Ávila on 19 March 1574 was subsequently relocated (see no. 21).

Chapel built by Pedro de Brizuela on the site of the previous one, with a Baroque altarpiece dating from 1611 featuring the image of St Joseph with the Infant Jesus, by the sculptor Luis Salvador Carmona (1753). Convent of the Discalced Carmelites.
