This building is listed in the National Assets of Cultural Interest. 

In 1574, it housed the original foundation of the Discalced Carmelite nuns led by Saint Teresa of Jesus. It later moved to their current location on the same street. Refurbished later, it has a courtyard with four arcaded sides and a well. The upper part, made of wood, was further modified in the 19th century.  

Today, it is the headquarters of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos (Official College of Architects).
