If you are not from the EU, you will need a visa.
Do I benefit from health care?
If you are coming from the EU, you will be able to use your health insurance in Spain. You will only have to apply for the European Health Insurance Card available at your health insurance centre in your country. This is the card you will use during your stay in Segovia.
You can also suscribe to a private health insurance.
What is my Spanish level?
To asses you Spanish level, you will do a test at the beginning of your stay. Every course offers 3 different levels, the first one being for beginners without any or with very litle Spanish and the last one being for those who show an advanced level.
How long do I need to speak Spanish fluently?
If you undertake the General Spanish course, starting for example at the basic level, it is highly possible that within 3 months you will be able to speak our language fluently.
How can I withdraw money in Spain?
You can withdraw money from any cash machine that you will find in all banks of the city but you can only withdraw a certain amount, around 300 euros per day and 1200 per week. We recommend that you ask your bank about the limits of your credit card before you come.
Is Segovia a safe place?
Segovia is an extremely safe medium-size city. All the students usually go out at night and the streets are therefore full of people in the centre. But we obviously advise you to be cautious.
What is the weather like in Segovia?
The climate is continental: The winter is cold and dry, the temperature from November until February fluctuate between 0ºC (in the morning) and 15ºC. In the summer, it is hot, with temperature between 18ºC and 30ºC.
How much money should I bring?
To calculate how much money you should bring, bear in mind that prices in Segovia are a little lower that the European average but there is not a big difference. Go to bars or to the cinema is cheaper but here students go out bearly every day of the week. If you have a credit card, don`t worry, there are plenty of cash machines all around the city.
