Accessible hot-air balloon flight
If you’ve always dreamt of enjoying a thrilling hot-air balloon ride, you can now do just that in Segovia thanks to its accessible balloon!
Segovia Tourism offers you the chance to fly over our city – a World Heritage Site since 1985 – and enjoy a unique experience in one of the first hot-air balloons in Spain to be adapted for people with reduced mobility. Are you up for it?
The basket features two hydraulic seats that allow you to enjoy the flight whilst seated and secured with a seatbelt, as well as to get in and out as you please at any point during the flight.
The balloon’s route is the same as for all other flights: it takes off opposite the Cathedral and the Alcázar, offering fantastic views of Segovia; as the balloon ascends, you can take in all the wonders the city and its surroundings have to offer from a privileged vantage point and, after approximately one hour in the air, you’ll land – a fun, exciting and safe experience. At the very spot where you land, you’ll be treated to a toast with cava and a varied breakfast, before receiving your certificate commemorating that first flight.

Useful information for passengers
- For the passenger’s comfort, clothing should be appropriate for the time of year. There is no need to wrap up any more than usual. Comfortable footwear and a cap are recommended.
- There is no age limit, although it is advisable to be tall enough to enjoy the view over the edge of the basket.
- These balloons drift with the wind and, as the flight always takes place in gentle winds, it is a most peaceful and pleasant experience.
- In principle, altitude is not a limitation for the balloon, although depending on the area being flown over, it will range from 150 to 1,000 metres.
Cancellation Policy
- Once a date has been confirmed for the flight, it may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, in which case it would be postponed until a time mutually agreed to be suitable.
